Will MDC run on Windows XP?
Yes. You must be set up as an Administrator in order to install and setup MDC for the first time. MDC was designed using XP as a base operating system. We have tested the software on all platforms including Windows 98, ME, XP, and 2000. If you need to transfer your database to another computer, you’ll need to Backup your database on the existing computer, and then Restore the database on the new computer. This is done through the File Menu.The answer to this question depends on the specific needs of your practice. In some cases, it does make more sense to do some or all of the billing in-house.
